Marc Wurgaft, CSW Director
A graduate of Yeshiva University's Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Mr. Wurgaft has over twenty years of
clinical and administrative experience in both the mental health field and the field of addiction. Mr. Wurgaft
has served as the Director of New Directions since its inception.
The professional counseling staff of New Directions
consists of New York State Certified Social Workers (CSWs),
Psychologists (Ph.Ds), Art and Creative Therapists, and New York State
Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselors (CASACs). All
clinical staff attend weekly individual supervision as well as weekly
case conferences.
New Directions strives to reach and maintain cultural competency in all
areas of its program. Our professional and administrative staff are
representative of the diverse ethnic cultures which we service. All
services are offered in English and Spanish. New Directions is a barrier
free facility as well.
